Description
inventory list Amendment 1 NB686010-13-02968 The purpose of this Amendment is to extend the due date and provide Questions and Answers that were addressed during a site visit at the NIST Gaithersburg campus. Offerors shall submit their quotations so that NIST receives them not later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. FAX quotations shall not be accepted. E-mail quotations shall be accepted at eric.bubar@nist.gov. Offerors' quotations shall not be deemed received by the Government until the quotation is entered into the e-mail address inbox set forth above. Q: Will the time for questions be extended? A: Yes, CAR clause 1352.215-72 INQUIRIES in the solicitation is amended. Questions should be received no later than Thursday April 18, 2013. Q: Is there an inventory list of the items being moved? A: Please see the attached file title "Boulder lab move inventory by room." Q: What is the liability for the contractor during performance? Will all equipment be in operational condition before the move? A: All equipment will be operational before being packed up. Offerors shall state liability amounts in the quotation and must demonstrate that the proposed insurance and bonding is consistent with best commercial practices. Q: Will there be any gases, liquids, or chemicals that need to be packed and shipped? A: There will be no gases, liquids, or hazardous materials. There will be some non-caustic solids that will be packed and shipped. Q: Will the cabinetry on the wall need to be removed and transported to Boulder? A: No. Q: Will the optical tables be cleared before they need to be taken apart and rigged? A: Yes. Q: What kind of labeling will be done on the boxes/crates that are pre-packed by NIST and the boxes/crates that the contractor will pack? A: There will be labeling on boxes so NIST employees know what is in them and where they go. NIST employees will also be present during the packing and moving to provide direction for labeling on items packed by the contractor. NIST computers and monitors already have organizational numbers labeled on them. END OF TEXT.
