- TITLE: 1560; TRAILER EDGE, AIRCRAFT; A-10 AIRCRAFT; WSIC F PR: 0045871381, ISSUE DATE: 10 AUG 2012; CLOSING DATE: 10 SEP 2012 NSN: 1560-01-497-6603; PR: 0045424767; Item: Trailer Edge, Aircraft; P/N: 160D512100-5. The item intended sources are: Northrop Grumman System (CAGE 26512), The Nordam Group, Inc. (CAGE 29957), KI HO Military Acquisition (CAGE 3L2L3) or C&D Zodiac, Inc. (CAGE 0A8Y4). DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition, however requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Any manufacturer, other than those listed above wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.aviation.dla.mil/userweb/sarguide.doc. This solicitation will result in an OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION (UNRESTRICTED) Firm Fixed Price contract for 45 each. This is a Critical Application Item. This item is subject to Configuration Control and Export Control. Government First Article applies. The following terms apply: FOB DESTINATION; Inspection / Acceptance ORIGIN. Delivery for this procurement will be DLA DIRECT (STOCK) ship to: Jacksonville, FL. The First Article is due 274 days from date of award (DARO). Production delivery will be 274 days after first article acceptance (DAFAA). This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at: dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA. Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR) apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be 1 May 2013 with a closing date of 31 May 2013. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
