This information will assist with Acquisition Planning. Your response is highly appreciated! This is a Sources Sought Synopsis requesting information only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP). It should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract in connection with this announcement. This Sources Sought is to assist with Market Research to determine if responsible sources exist and to determine if this effort can be competitive and/ or a total small business set aside. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disable Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women Owned Small Business concerns. AFLCMC/PZZKB is conducting market research to determine both the best acquisition strategy for this procurement and the existence of responsible business sources. There are two Performance Work Statements (PWS). The Contractor is to achieve the performance objectives in accordance of the PWS and applicable attachments. One is for the Contractor Logistics Support for the AN/ TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observing System and the other is for the AN/ FMQ-22 Automatic Meteorological Station. The Government is determining whether these two requirements can be combined and performed by one contractor or if multiple contracts are necessary. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government.
