- The General Services Administration (GSA) located in Newark, NJ is conducting market research/seeking sources from construction firms that are classified under one of the following small business programs: (1) Service-Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and/or (2) Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) for a Repair and Alteration IDIQ Contract to service the buildings maintained by the Newark, NJ GSA Service Center. The place of performance is Newark, NJ and surrounding areas. The estimated Maximum Ordering Limitation (MOL) (base + 4 Options) for this contract shall not exceed $3,000,000.00. The firm must be a general construction firm with an approved NAICS Code 236220. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. Scope: Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials and other costs for the following construction categories: 1. Demolition 2. Steel Studs and Wallboard Partitions 3. Metal Partitions 4. Demountable Metal Stud and Wallpaper Partition 5. Miscellaneous for Alteration Work 6. Wall Covering (Application Only) 7. New Metal Relocatable Partitions 8. New Resilient Flooring 9. Sheet Metal and Air Handling Apparatus 10. Installation of Government Furnished Air Conditioning 11. New Acoustical Ceiling System 12. Plaster Repairs 13. Painting 14. Electrical Work 15.Carpet-Installation 16. Sprinkler Work 17. Install Waste/Vent Lines 18. Install Domestic Water Supply 19. Install Government Furnished Sink 20. Drill Holes through Floor Slab 21. Air Conditioners up to 5 Tons 22. Elevated Floor System 23. Asbestos Abatement At this time, no solicitation exists, therefore, do not request a solicitation. Small bondable business contractors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought.
