- Description
- The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Job Order Contracts (JOC) in support of the 99th Regional Support Command. This requirement will be restricted to 8(a) businesses on a competitive basis. All other firms are deemed ineligible to provide bids. Period of Performance: 3 years. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be made. A maximum of three awards are anticipated to be made. The estimated magnitude of the total requirement is more than $10,000,000.00. The Contractor shall provide labor, supervision, and required to provide real property maintenance and repair to include minor construction and/asbestos abatement of reserve facilities in New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, quote mark Commercial and Institutional Building Construction quote mark, with a small business size standard of $33.5 Million. Release Date: The anticipated posting date of the RFP is on/or around 3 May 2013. Upon release to the public, the RFP as well as amendments will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fbo.gov/. The RFP will specify the actual date and time for receipt of proposals. It is a requirement that all Contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR Clause 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at htttps://www.sam.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests for paper copies will not be honored.
