Description
This is a Source Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. The NAICS code is 811219 and the Size Standard is $19M. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business set-aside is possible. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) is seeking qualified sources to provide non-personal services for maintenance of automated flow cytometers and automated sampler at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii Type of Contract - The Government intends to award a Firm, Fixed-Price contract for a base period of June 1, 2013 through September 30, 2013 with four (4) one-year options to the successful offeror. Contract Requirements - The successful offeror will be required to perform these services within the following constraints: 1. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, material, failed modules, optical and thermal calibrations, diagnostic test equipment and travel, to provide repair, replacement, and /or preventive maintenance on the equipment in a fully functional condition in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. All equipment must be in compliance with Joint Command, HIPAA and the NFPA 99 Standard for Health Care Facilities. The Government-owned equipment are listed below: Cytometer, Auto Flow, Mdl: Epics XL/MCL, SN: V18045 Cytometer, Auto Flow, Mdl: FC500, SN: AJ05020 Cytometer, Auto Flow, Mdl: Cell Lab Quanta SC, SN: AL260073 Sampler, Lab, Auto, Mdl: MPL, Cell lab Quanta SC, SN: AL150070 Cytometer, Auto Flow, Mdl: VI-Cell XR, SN: AL38216 2. Contractor shall insure repair technicians have been fully trained and experienced in testing and repairing the equipment and components on contract. The chosen representative by the contractor will have at a minimum one (1) year of experience in maintaining the equipment. All qualified sources are invited to submit capability statements that substantiate their experience and qualifications in performing services within five (5) business days from the date of this notice. Interested firms shall indicate if they have provided similar services to military medical treatment facilities and/or the general public under terms and conditions similar to those stated in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your service offerings and options. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 29 April 2013 at 12:00 PM Hawaiian Standard Time.
