Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Section, is seeking the potential source of a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (and all other socio-economic categories) general construction contractor with experience in small metal building construction for a project in Hebo, Oregon. The estimated cost is less than $25,000. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, design-build services, permits, transportation and supervision of sub-contractors necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in the Statement of Work. The workshop building will be of pole-type design; 36 feet wide and 24 feet deep with two 10' x 10' steel overhead doors and one 3' x 6'8' steel entry door. The interior ceiling must exceed 12 feet. Roofing and siding will be 29 gauge steel and the building will be engineered to withstand wind gusts of 110 MPH. There will be no windows, no interior walls, no heating nor air conditioning. Contractor will prepare the leveled site and provide gravel for set of concrete floor pad and backfill of minimum four-foot deep post holes. The Contractor-provided floor pad must be a minimum of 4 inches thick and have a 3000 PSI rating capable of supporting a 10,000lb two-post car lift.
