Description
The vendor is to provide a new monitoring system to the insisting system that will allow for equipment standardization in Cardiology.. EnSite Velocity: Cardiac Mapping System advanced electrophysiology mapping system creates non fluoroscopic 3D images of the heart chambers through the use of either EnSite NavX Visulization and Navigation Technology or the non-contact EnSite Array catheter. System provides diagnostic and interventional capabilities which represent the anatomy of the cardiac chamber and electro anatomical information (e.g. activation maps, voltage maps) as well as tracks the real time location of electrophysiology catheters within the cardiac structure. System also assists in recording the location of ablation lesions as applied by an ablation generator. Displays workstation with quad dual core processors running most current version of operating system software. Includes high definition, 24" widescreen monitor for physician viewing, mobile cart, printer, monitor stand, fiber optic cables, amplifier subsystem, 128 channel amplifier, interface module, medical ablation generator, interface module, Navlink module, Arraylink module, Cathlink module, mobile cart, rail clamps, and cables Standardization between units increases the effectiveness of clinical training and reduces use errors leading to increased patient safety. Limitations imposed by the present Ensite Velocity Cardiac Mapping System equipment will inevitably result in the inability to schedule an expanded case load and result in case cancellations, when the appropriate system is not available for a scheduled case. Non-availability of the equipment would result in a backlog of patients, cancellation of cases, and much greater cost to the facility to fee basis services. Acquisition will include the purchase of software, hardware, and implementation services required for the installation of the EnSite Velocity Cardiac Mapping System in the Cardiac Cath Lab. For additional details, reference provided vendor quote.
