Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). The RFQ number is W91236-13-T-0034. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-65 and DFARS Change Notice 20121231. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 238220 and the Small Business Standard is $14.0M. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for total small business concerns. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Norfolk District requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Scheduled Preventive and Unscheduled Emergency Maintenance Services for Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Chiller Systems (see attached Performance Work Statement), with a period of performance of a base year with four (4) additional options periods. SITE VISIT: Interested contractors have an opportunity to visually inspect the HVAC and Chiller systems. The site visit is scheduled for March 28, 2013 at 9:00 A.M. Local Time. All interested parties should report to the Main Lobby within the Waterfield Building, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA 23510-1096 no earlier than 8:30 A.M. and no later than 8:50 A.M. Local Time. Delivery Location is 803 Front St. Norfolk, VA 23510-1096. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
