- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers releases this pre solicitation notice for a requirement for Intake Roller Chains for penstock head gates for the Table Rock Powerhouse Office. Solicitation W9127S-13-B-0005 will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) utilizing procedures under FAR 14, Sealed Biding. The solicitation is to result in a firm fixed price definite quantity contract for 4 complete roller chains to be delivered 180 days after award with quantity options for 2 additional roller chains. The terms of delivery are FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The components required per chain are 276 rollers, 276 pins, 552 link plates, 552 retaining rings and 1104 Teflon washers. A total of 10 pairs (20 each) of link plates, 12 inches in length with one hole each, are also required. Additional components/spare parts shall be ordered as indicated. Shop assembly of the intake chains is required prior to shipping. Installation will be performed by the government. This requirement will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) code is 332999. Size Standard is 750 employees. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only at the Army's Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) on or about 13 May 2013 with a closing response date on or about 12 June 2013. It is each offerors responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_searchform.cfm and search for Solicitation Number W9127S-13-B-0005. All offerors are encouraged to visit the Army's Single Face to Industry Website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi to view other business opportunities.
