- Category 2 Project Category 1 Project Solicitation This serves as the presolicitation notice for the Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for Construction, Ouachita National Forest and Ozark-St. Francis National Forest. The Ouachita National Forest and Ozark-St. Francis National Forests will be soliciting for Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for Construction on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) basis. Typical work includes, but is not limited to: interior and exterior renovations, bridges, demolition, limited utilities, site-work, landscaping, fencing, masonry, roofing, concrete, asphalt paving, storm drainage, and construction of new facilities, limited design-build and other related work. All work will be in accordance with individual task order requirements, specifications and drawings provided with each project or master specifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are under 236, 237, and 238. The small business size standard is generally $33.5 million. The solicitation is a Request for Proposals which will result in award of indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts for a basic period of performance from July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014, plus four, one-year option periods. Submission of an offer for the basic contract period constitutes an offer to perform in the Option Period(s), if exercised. The government anticipates making award to multiple offerors as a result of the solicitation. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Award will be made based on the best value to the government and can be made on initial offers. A site visit for a prototypical project on the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest will be held on April 29, at 10:00 a.m., and a site visit for a prototypical project on the Ouachita National Forest will be held on April 30, at 10:00 a.m. More information about the site visits is included in the solicitation. In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, the successful offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov). The solicitation and related documents are available for download at https://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site.
