- The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) and Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) will host a Pre-Solicitation Conference on Thursday, 02 May 2013 from 8:00 a.m. CDT until 12:00 p.m. CDT at the 932nd Air Wing Auditorium, Bldg 3650, located at 2400 East Drive on Scott Air Force Base, IL. Please RSVP electronically to William R. Lindquist, Contracting Officer at bill.lindquist@ustranscom.mil, and Dorothy Dailey, Contract Specialist at dorothy.dailey@ustranscom.mil by Tuesday, 30 April 2013 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. We request that only three representatives from each organization attend because of limited seating in the auditorium. If you require a badge in order to access the base, please respond electronically with the RSVP so that we can make arrangements for you. The purpose of the Pre-Solicitation Conference is to give an overview of the Regional Domestic Contract (RDC)-6 requirement. We will discuss the proposal submission, evaluation process, and important milestones. As a reminder, draft solicitation questions/comments are due Thursday, 26 April 2013 by 5:00 p.m. CDT. All questions and comments must be submitted in writing using the Question/Comment Matrix Spreadsheet attached with the draft solicitation. The actual solicitation is estimated to be released to FedBizOpps on 20 May 2013 with a proposal due date of 28 June 2013. Period of performance for this requirement is: Base Period: 01 Dec 2013-30 Nov 2014 Option Year One: 01 Dec 2014-30 Nov 2015 Option Year Two: 01 Dec 2015-30 Nov 2016 Anticipated award date is 16 October 2013.
