Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Acquisitions Service Area, Southern Region, AAQ-510 ATL, College Parka, Georgia has a requirement for the Replacement of Two (2) Antenna Towers, Remote Communication Air-Ground (RCAG) Facility, Perry Florida This requirement is solely set-aside for Pre-Existing/Qualified Contractors under the Eastern Logistics Service Area Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA). Performance time for the entire project is 120 calendar days. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237130 “ Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction “ Size Standards in Millions “ 33.5 Million 3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (Construction) (July 2004) (a) AMS clauses 3.2.2.3-42, Differing Site Conditions, and 3.2.2.3-43, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded under this SIR. Accordingly, FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. (b) Point of Contact: Michael Buff at michael.buff@faa.gov (End of provision) All Request For Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer no later than Friday May 3, 2013. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). When responding to this Request/Request for Proposal (RFP), each offeror is required to submit a cost breakdown proposal in addition to all the required documents outline in the RFP. Proposals are due no later than Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. local time (Eastern Standard Time) Proposals can be submitted using the United States Postal Service (USPS) or any commercial mail carrier to the following address: FAA Eastern Logistics Service Area, Southern Region Attn: Maxine L. Cross, AAQ-510ATL 1701 Columbia Avenue, College Park Georgia. 30337 The proposal must be sealed and labeled as follows: RFP # DTFAEN-13-R-00042, due 3:00 p.m. EST, Tuesday May 14, 2013 Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Office. Overnight delivery of responses to this RFP may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office. Electronic Offers in response to this RFP can be submitted in accordance with the below clause: 3.2.2.3-20 Electronic Offers (July 2004) (a) The offeror (you) may submit responses to this SIR by the following electronic means (E-Mail). Your offer must arrive at the place and by the time specified in the RFP.
