Description

NSN Data for Sources Sought Synopsis (BAE South Africa parts) This is not a request for a proposal. This announcement is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The purpose of this synopsis is to seek qualified vendors capable of supplying the item listed below. DLA Land & Maritime is preparing to solicit of 44 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) in support of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles to be added to long term contract SPM7LX-10-D-9016, through Canadian Commercial Corporation. The acquisition will be for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with the only approved source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), unless other qualified sources can be identified. These items are purchased from the prime contractor Canadian Commercial Corporation where subcontractor General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS-C holds a North American Agreement with BAE) is providing the parts from OEM BAE South Africa (CAGE SZ177). The proposed procurement will contain an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration shall not exceed the date of September 29, 2015, in accordance with the contract. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Unrestricted. Interested Vendors may identify to the contract specialist their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement.
