- Draft SOW Registration Sheet Hill AFB is having a site visit for this requirement on 1 May 2013 at 1000 at the UTTR. A sign in sheet is provided for those who plan on attending. Those that do not attend this site visit will not be eligible to bid. Directions to the UTTR. Take I-80 west (towards wendover) to exit 62, turn right at the yield sign and veer left onto the paved road. Oasis is 17 miles from that point. After reaching the gate, park and walk to the security forces desk through the side door. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Internet Service for the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) Sources Sought/Request for Information Synopsis This announcement constitutes a sources sought synopsis for purposes of market research. Market Research is being conducted to seek qualified small business contractors with the skills, knowledge, and resources required to complete this effort. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The 309th Missile Maintenance Wing (MMXG) is conducting market research to determine potential small business sources to provide Wireless Internet service to the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR). The scope of this requirement is to provide commercial internet service for visiting and permanent civilian and military personnel using existing government provided infrastructure and equipment. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate (AFSC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal RFP in May 2013 timeframe for the acquisition of the subject services. The estimated contract period of performance is 4 July 2013 through 3 Jul 2014 with potential for option years. The successful contractor shall provide trained personnel; funish all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, lodging and transportation necessary to provide Wireless Internet Service to the UTTR. The contractor shall provide a maximum capability of 100 Mbs download and 30 Mbs upload speeds with lower tiered levels of service (i.e. 10 Mbs download/3 Mbs upload, 50 Mbs download/15 Mbs upload) available as flexible options based on actual usage needs. The NAICS code for this requirement is 517210; if another NAICS code is found to better suit this effort then it shall be included (please note any recommendations). Information for interested parties: subject to the Government's consideration a viable source qualified to provide the requisite services shall attend the Industry Day Site Visit to be held 1 May 2013 at the UTTR. A list of names of all employees planning to attend shall be forwarded along with any responses to this announcement. Only those contractors present at the Industry Day Site Visit held 1 May 2013 will be eligible for consideration in the solicitation. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. A Statement of Work has been attached to this synopsis for reference. The Government is interested in small businesses to include: 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hub-zone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size; (2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed five) to include brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value & type of contract, and period of performance; and (3) information about your company and why you think you can perform this service. (4) names of all persons planning to attend the 1 May 2013 industry day site visit. In addition to your responses to the RFI questions, feel free to include any suggestions, recommendations, questions, or concerns regarding this effort.
