- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, NY intends to make a single award firm fixed price contract for the supply of Superpave Hot Mix Asphalt for the United States Penitentiary, Waymart, PA. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the government. The estimated number of tons is 1,422. This solicitation will be available on or about April 22, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All information concerning this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy the solicitation. The solicitation has the North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code of 324121. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), which incorporated the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The date for receipt of quotations is on or about May 13, 2013; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
