Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region is seeking qualified 8(a) vendors only to supply and install a security fence in Nelson, Nevada. Work includes, but is not limited to the following supply and installation of a Class F security fence. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: Demolition of the existing three barbed wire fences. Demolition of the existing tee posts. Demolition of the existing corner post set up. Demolition of the existing gate and posts. Furnish and install approximately 500 linear feet of Class F fencing around the site in accordance with the plans and specifications. Furnish and install one 14 foot wide double swing gate. Furnish and install one 4 foot wide pedestrian gate. Furnish and install fence grounding and bonding. Furnish and install concrete waste blocks. Quantity, size, and location per the project plans. Furnish and install one access road gate and carousel lock assembly per the project plans. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from 8(a) certified firms capable of fulfilling this requirement. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 236220: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 million. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Interested contractors should submit the following documents to the point of contact listed at the bottom of this announcement: Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
