- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 2nd Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for the procurement of the following service/commodity: Mobile Device Management (MDM) licenses, including a onetime setup and 40 training hours, with base + 3 option years MDM maintenance. These licenses will be hosted on servers procured and managed by Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Hurlburt Field, FL. AFSOC has a contract for Airwatch MDM through Jeppesen-Sanderson, Inc, to manage AFSOC EFB devices. Through an agreement with AFSOC, AFGSC will manage its EFB devices via the same service on AFSOC's servers at Hurlburt Field, FL. This is a Sole Source award to Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. 55 Inverness Drive East Englewood, CO 80112 (303) 799-9090. 2 CONS/LGCC has determined that Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement. The sole manufacturer has no authorized distributors and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 511210. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply/service as described above and rationale as to why they should be considered. Responses received will be evaluated and considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
