- This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001-13-T-6627. This requirement is full and open competition, NAICS code is 333314 and business size standard is 500 employees. Below is the specifications and quantities needed. The Electro-Optic Surveillance (EOS) project requires an optical window to support a customer mandated system deployment to a classified location. This window will be installed inside a dome used to house optical sensors. The window must meet the following requirements: 1. Shall be rectangle in shape a. Shall have a width of 14 inches b. Shall have a height of between 14 inches and 15 inches 2. Shall have a thickness of at least 0.3 inches 3. Have an AR coating 4. Shall have a Knoop Hardness rating of at least 1850 Kg/mm2 (Knoop Indentation, 200g load) 5. Shall have a fracture toughness of at least 2.0 MPa-m1/2 6. Shall have a greater than 80% transmittance at wavelengths of 1.6 to 4.2 um 7. Shall have a refractive index that does not vary greater than 4% over the wavelength range of 1.6 to 4.2 um The window must be delivered by July 1, 2013 Delivery Address: San Diego, ca. 92110. Add shipping if any. Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order.
