- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation N40192-13-Q-7027 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-65. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 339113 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following commercial items are requested: CLIN 0001 - Quantity - (15) each Ballistic Vests. Sizes: XTRA Large. Specifications are as follows: • Ballistic Panels are self-supported to prevent sagging • Poly-cotton carrier, flexible, lightweight • Carrier needs to have shirttails • Front and back plate pockets to fit 5" x 8" and 8" x 10" trauma plates • Waterproof ballistic panel cover • Removable strapping system / adjustable Velcro • Needs to comply with NIJ 0101.06 Armor Standards • Color: Dark Blue CLIN 0002 - Quantity - (30) each Ballistic Vests. Size: Medium Regular. Specifications are as follows: • Ballistic Panels are self-supported to prevent sagging • Poly-cotton carrier, flexible, lightweight • Carrier needs to have shirttails • Front and back plate pockets to fit 5" x 8" and 8" x 10" trauma plates • Waterproof ballistic panel cover • Removable strapping system / adjustable Velcro • Needs to comply with NIJ 0101.06 Armor Standards • Color: Dark Blue CLIN 0003 - Quantity - (30) each Ballistic Vests. Size: Large Regular.
