Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for Commercial services in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.1. No proposals are requested by this announcement; all responses shall be solely in the form of information and materials. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation or to award any contract on the basis of this RFI. Further, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals or any cost or pricing data. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be the sole responsibility of the contractor. All submissions will be treated as business confidential materials, become Government property, and will not be returned The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to award a twelve (12) month firm fixed price contract for VISN 7 Vital Signs Monitors, with a twelve (12) month option period for maintenance. **This is a Follow on to RFI VA118-13-I-0180** Background/Requirements The Government has a requirement for VISN 7 Vital Signs Monitors Upgrade and anticipates trade-in of the type and quantities of the equipment listed in Attachment A, Trade-In. This equipment is located at the following locations: Atlanta, GA VAMC, Augusta, GA VAMC, Dublin, GA VAMC, Charleston, SC VAMC, Columbia, SC VAMC, Birmingham, AL VAMC, Tuscaloosa, AL VAMC and Montgomery, AL Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (VHCS) Question 1.Identify the Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) of what your company contemplates the trade in value for the devices listed in Attachment A VSM Trade-In List to be. Submittal Information The VA is looking to receive input from vendors on the question above. Interested parties may submit a statement, no more than five (5) pages addressing the question above, for your company, your teammates and/or subcontractors and also denote the business size for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541512. Please include company name, company address, and DUNS Number.
