- Description
- PWS for SCU8 Firmware Upgrade CDRL 0006 - Final Report This is the official 30-day solicitation for a fixed-quantity, fixed price effort to upgrade the Litening G4 Targeting Pod firmware in the FLIR Electronics Unit (FEU) LRU at up to six (6) locations located within the continental United States. The period of performance is six months, with five (5) days of work performed at each location. This effort is sole source to Northrop Grumman Corporation IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The service is highly specialized to be utlized on the F-16 Blk 30 SCU8 aircraft. Northrop Grumman developed the Litening TGP and is the original manufacturer. General Requirements: - The contractor shall provide a Field Service Engineer (FSE) at up to six (6) bases as directed by the Goverment to upgrade 79 Litening pod FEUs. - A final technical report indicating the serial number listing of the pods, FEUs upgarded, and a list of any problems or issues that occurred during this effort, as well as how these issues were resolved shall be provided to the Government. - Contractor personnel shall not release or remove system documentation, data, or reports generated by or thorugh use of Government systems. All requests for information shall be forwarded to AFLCMC/WWBPA. - The Government is not responsible for making contractor personnel travel arrangements necessary to support the task requirement. - Technical documentation developed by the contractor shall be nonproprietary and available to the Government without limitation as the basis for technical support, technical direction, or production competition in industry.
