Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 9, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Steris Corporation, 5960 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060 for an annual service agreement, providing labor, materials, travel and four (4) preventative maintenance inspections on Steris Cart washer Model 130. This equipment is located at the Louisville VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY. STERIS Corporation is the proprietary vendor and sole distributor of their Steris Washers and Sterilizer products and accessory supplies. Steris's Endoscope Processors and Sterilizer are regulated by FDA. Only engineers trained and certified by Steris are authorized to service Steris's Reliance Endoscope Processors and Sterilizer. This notice is informational only and is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of proposals. Responses received may be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must be detailed information and must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates an ability to meet the agency3s needs.
