- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Sole Source Procurement is being solicitated as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334118 (Computer Manufacturing) with a business size of 1000 employees. This procurement will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) outlined in FAR Part 13. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order. Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a contract to buy two (2) 56 ¯ Touch Screen Tek Panel UHR 560T for the Multiple Trainer Simulator at Norfolk, VA using FAR Part 13 SAP. This synopsis/solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes. It is a notice that outlines the Government ™s intent to contract on a sole source basis, with Tek Panel. However, if a vendor is able to provide the exact same items identified, it can submit a quote for evaluation. The evaluation of other quotes, if received, will be based on technical acceptability, including delivery terms and price.
