Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR ELEVATOR REPAIR & MAINTENANCE SUPPORT SERVICES a.The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Bragg (MICC-FB), North Carolina is seeking source information to provide Non-Personal Support Services for Elevator Repair & Maintenance Support Services. The requirement includes all Repair, Monthly and Annual Maintenance Support Services of all existing Elevators, Escalators, Dumbwaiters and Wheelchair Lifts, located on Fort Bragg, Simmons and Pope Army Airfield, located in the State of North Carolina (except for FORSCOM and Womack locations). b.The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies and supervision required, except those items specified as Government furnished. This work includes the maintenance, repair, service and replacement of defective or worn parts of all components, devices and equipment required to maintain the elevators in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and specifications herein and subject to the terms and conditions of this contract. The Contractor's work and responsibility shall include all contractor planning, administration, and management necessary to provide all operation, preventive maintenance, service and repairs as specified. The work shall be conducted in strict accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations, codes, technical references, and manufacturer's instructions. This contract shall provide full service maintenance and repair contract on all elevators, wheelchair lifts, escalators and dumbwaiters at Simmons Army Airfield, Pope Army Air Field, and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. It is within the scope of this contract to add additional elevators that may be constructed and/or those that may come off warranty status, thereby necessitating the need for any required repair and maintenance for those known locations at that time. c.The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify the availability and capability of all businesses capable and interested in performing the services required above, regardless of socioeconomic category. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors. According to this NAICS code, this industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in installing or servicing building equipment (except electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, or ventilation equipment). The repair and maintenance of miscellaneous building equipment is included in this industry. The work performed may include new work, additions, alterations, maintenance, and repairs. The size standard for this NAICS code is $14M. d.We are requesting all interested and qualified firms review the DRAFT Performance Work Statement and respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: 1)Company name, Socioeconomical Categories, a main Point of Contact, to include a complete address, fax number, email and company website address; 2)A list of similar contracts your firm currently holds or has completed within the last five (5) years. The list of relevant contracts should only include the location, contract number, brief description/title of requirement, estimated yearly value and performance period. 3)DUNS number and CAGE code; 4)Socioeconomic Classification; 5)A Brief Statement of Capability (no more than 3 pages in length) e.This Sources Sought Notice is NOT a solicitation. Rather, this Sources Sought Notice is being conducted as a Market Research method to determine all interested sources prior to formalizing our Acquisition approach. f.No physical or quote mark hard quote mark copies will be accepted as a result of this request.
