- NSN 3110-01-598-8885, Bearing, Roller, Tapered. The approved sources are: The Timken Corporation, CAGE 60038, Part-number SB3507-503 and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, CAGE 78286, Part-number SB3507-503. DFARS 252.225-7016, Restriction on the Purchase of Foreign Bearings applies. Item is solicited as Unrestricted. Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. FOB Destination. Required delivery is 179 days after receipt of order. Critical Application Item applies. Source Controlled Item applies. Export Controlled Item applies. Solicitation will result in a firm-fixed Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a 3-year base plus one 2-year option period. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) quantity of 36 each for the base and each option year. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. End item application is in support of the CH-53 D/E helicopter. Solicitation issue date is May 10, 2013. The date is subject to change. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) Homepage (https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil), select 'Request for Proposal (RFP)' under the Solicitations heading.
