- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia, PA intends to procure an unrestricted acquisition for Engineering and Support Services in support of various Navy Modernization Programs. This entails providing installation and technical services for upgrading Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems, and deploying technologies which improve availability, increase reliability, ship mission readiness, and workload requirements for machinery systems and components. The procurement will be awarded on Best Value basis requiring the submission of a cost/price proposal, and a technical proposal. The NAICS classification for this acquisition is 336611. The government intends to award an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery, Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract with a level of effort of 6,095,225 hours (1,219,045 hrs per year). Multiple awards are anticipated. The period of performance for this acquisition is anticipated to be twelve (12) months with four (4) twelve (12) month options. All contractors must be registered with the System For Award Management Website (SAM) https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The solicitation along with any attachments will only be available electronically at the following websites: www.fedbizopps.gov and or www.neco.navy.mil. All interested parties may down load the solicitation and any amendments after the release date of the solicitation. The dates of solicitation issuance, receipt of proposals in this synopsis are projected. Upon release of solicitation, RFP will close 30 days thereafter.
