Description

The Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) has a requirement to procure the extension of the conveyor system in six separate areas in the Chelmsford, MA (Northeast) NE-CMOP facility. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333922 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Award will be made to a single vendor after evaluation as being in the best interests of the Government. The Government anticipates making a firm-fixed-price award without discussions. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The purpose of the intended solicitation is to provide the NE-CMOP with additional space on the facility conveyor in order to eliminate personnel downtime and order processing lags in the specific areas of Labeling and Pharmacist Verification (PV). The spurs will be required to integrate into the existing conveyor system and to accommodate the existing RFID tracking of product transit boxes (totes) that are currently in use at the NE-CMOP facility. Solicitation Package VA797M-13-Q-0192 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or about April 30, 2013. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor Fedbizopps for changes or amendments.
