- SCOPE OF WORK STA HARBOR BEACH WATER INTRUSSION 1.1 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT: • To repair the cause of water intrusion into Sta Harbor Beach's dining facility. Work will also cover any interior / exterior damage caused by water intrusion. 1.2 REFERENCES: • NA 1.3 DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE COMPLETED: • Remove all landscaping stones, bushes, and trees. • Remove dirt along building along footing to allow access to water intrusion locations. • Install two coats of foundation coating and one coat of tar. • Once all water intrusion locations have been found and corrected, all dirt will be back filled to its original state. • Under plant and tree bedding 12" of peastone sand will be used to back fill. • 4" of ¾" stone will be used under the sand to help drain water away from building. • Any interior damage shall also be corrected. Damage includes but is not limited to dry wall replacement, painting walls, and carpet flooring replacement. 2.1 SITE VISIT: SITE VISIT MUST BE DONE TO QUOTE!! Contractor is to contact MK1 Michael Bird to arrange time and days for work to be accomplished after receiving notification from the Contracting Officer to proceed. 3.1 MILITARY REGULATION: The contractor, his employees and sub contractors shall become familiar with and obey all station regulations. 3.2 All personnel employed on the project shall keep within the limits of the work and avenues of the ingress and egress, and shall not enter any other areas outside the site of work unless required to do so in the performance of their duties and have obtained verbal permission from MK1 Michael Bird or Officer of the Day. 3.3 The contractor's equipment shall be conspicuously marked for identification. 3.4 There shall be no smoking in any Coast Guard building and only in designated areas. 4.1 WORK HOURS: The contractor shall perform all site work during the normal operation hours, 0700-1600 Mon-Fri except during federal holidays. 4.2 Any deviations from normal working hours will be discussed with MK1 Michael Bird and agreed upon by all parties concerned. 5.1 CLEAN UP OF WORK AREA: The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash and debris pertaining to the contract work from the limits of government property, as well as adjacent affected areas. 5.2 Disposal of HAZ MAT shall be in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations 6.1 ACCEPTANCE OF WORK: Prior to the acceptance of work by the Coast Guard, the contractor shall arrange, through MK1 Michael Bird, a review of work completed to ensure all items have been inspected to indentify necessary inspection certificates, tags, and to ensure work satisfaction as well as proper clean up.
