Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA-209), intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) Delivery Order (DO) under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0018 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS). This order is for the efforts required to convert a quantity of 8 Radios from RT-1851(C) to RT-1851A. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. GENERAL INFORMATION: As Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 Family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintains the proprietary rights to this radio, it is the only source capable of providing the required efforts. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Rockwell Collins Government Systems at the following address: Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498.
