Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - VENTANA MEDICAL SYSTM. Acquisition Plan Number: VA244-13-AP-7159 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System 646 Contract Office - intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source Available, no other source will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with: Ventana Medical Systems of 1910 E Innovation Park Drive Tucson, AZ 85755-1962 for reagents to be used in machines. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
