Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only. It is being presented to determine if there is an expression of interest from prospective contractors who can perform the requirements for an anticipated contract. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. All capable businesses should respond with a capability statement to assist the Government in determining in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b) if a set aside is required. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center, Pennsylvania is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of qualified, technically capable vendors who can provide onsite collection, certified destruction and recycling services of confidential/sensitive documents/material for the Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) located at 3900 University and Woodland Ave., Philadelphia PA 19104 and nine (9) of its affiliate locations as listed below thus making a total of ten (10) locations: Philadelphia VA Nursing Home Care Unit 3467 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19104 Gloucester County CBOC 211 County House Road Sewell, NJ 08080 Willow Grove CBOC 433 Caredean Drive Horsham, PA 19044 Philadelphia VA Vet Center 801 Arch Street, Suite 102 Philadelphia, PA 19107 Camden CBOC 300 Broadway, Suite 103 Camden, NJ 08104 Fort Dix 8th & Alabama Bldg -5347 Fort Dix, NJ 08640 Outpatient Dialysis Unit 4219 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19014 Multi Service Center 213-217 North 4th Street Philadelphia, PA 19123 Annex Bldg - Suite 201 4100 Chester Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19104 Please indicate the socio-economic status of your firm. As indicated above, the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561990 and the small business threshold is $10.0 million dollars. The awarded contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, management, management support, transportation, supplies, equipment, and materials to maintain security of sensitive materials at their points of origination throughout the Philadelphia VA Medical Center and the nine (9) designated locations as listed above. Shredding services shall include, but are not limited to: Providing secure bins for the storage and pick-up of confidential documents prior to shredding, providing onsite shredding at each of the ten (10) locations, transport, shred, and dispose of all material in secure vehicles, and provide the agency with a certificate of destruction. The awarded contractor shall wet pulp, macerate, chop, shred, or otherwise definitely destroy the information contained in all documents so that it is not readable or reconstructable. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center and designated locations will generally require regular pick-ups, on a schedule to be determined. Responses to this notice should include the following: "Offeror's company name, TIN, DUNS, address, point of contact, title, phone number and email address; "Offeror's capability to meet this requirement and any pertinent information which demonstrates the firm's ability to meet the above requirements. "Size of business pursuant to the North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS). All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 2:00PM local time, May 3rd, 2013. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System For Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
