Description

JOFOC The Bureau of Engraving & Printing in Washington, DC has a need to procure waste water treatment services for its Ft. Worth, TX facility. Services include water wipe production for the intaglio printing presses, waste handling and treatment of the ink pit sludge returning from the plate printing pits, and the processing of chrome and nickel waste from the plate making plating line. Additional services include maintenance of all process equipment in the waste treatment area, including the waste centrifuge and the water wipe batching process. In the event services are not provided, intaglio production would cease and the BEP's mission of currency production would be disrupted. Services are being provided by C&E Services, Inc 1950 Old Gallows Road, Suite 550 Vienna, Virginia 22182. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements" is applicable to this procurement action. The period of performance is 04/01/2013 to 09/30/2013 and four (4) 12-month option years thereafter. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii) "all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency."
