- Please note the response date listed with this pre-solicitation notice is not the actual due date. The actual due date will be stated in the solicitation. This pre-solicitation notice is for lodging within 10 miles of Fort Knox, KY 40121. The award will be a fixed price purchase order with a period of performance of one year with a one-year option period. Target start date is 3 Jun 13. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, as noted in the solicitation. The location of the hotel is required to be within a ten-mile radius from Fort Knox, KY 40121. Housing is needed to support the Tass Training Center Knox students, guest instructors, and administrative staff. The facility should be able to support at least 16 double man rooms, and 20 single man rooms soldiers at one time period. The Hotel shall have a Business Center at no cost to the soldiers as well as on-site washers and dryers. A Room Roster will be sent to the contractor by the Government Point of Contact or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within 30 days prior to the scheduled unit assemblies. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 721110, size standard of $30 Million. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor in order to submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). The solicitation will be posted on or about 1 May 13 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site, www.sam.gov, under the appropriate NAICS.
