- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for tree climbing and 100 meter search survey services necessary for the collection of field data and materials on Red Tree Voles (RTV). Data may be collected on proposed project areas in the Willamette, Siuslaw, and Umpqua National Forests, and Eugene and Salem BLM Districts. The Contractor shall, considering given resource objectives for the work unit, develop a plan of operation to accomplish these objectives, organize, and direct all the equipment and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary, except those designated as Government furnished, to complete the work required. All work shall be performed in accordance with these specifications and "Survey Protocol for the Red Tree Vole (Arborimus longicaudus)" Version 3.0 or most current version. The Protocol document is available on the Web at: http://www.blm.gov/or/plans/surveyandmanage/protocals/sp.htm It is the Government's intention to award a one-year Firm, Fixed Price Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Option to Extend the Term of the Contract for four (4) additional years. The Government may award up to two (2) contracts. Work to be specified, location of work and contract performance period will be ordered via Individual Project Task Orders. Contractor may be required to perform work items simultaneously on more than one district. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about May 14, 2013. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: https://www.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-8220. All vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in SAM as well.
