Description
Project Number 636-13-119, Replace PRV Station (Omaha). Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to replace Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) stations in Buildings 1 and 17 at the Omaha Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska 68105-1850. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings, and all applicable VA and local codes. Solicitation Number VA-263-13-B-1680 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about May 14, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held sometime during the week of May 20 through May 24, 2013 (See solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 90 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
