Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, has a requirement for Asbestos Abatement at Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee, WA AND Hungry Horse Power Office, Hungry Horse, MT, for a base year and four option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 562910. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $14.0 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. This procurement is being advertised as a Hubzone Set-Aside. The award will include a base year and 4 option years. These services will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 16.5. This will be a multiple award indefinite-delivery contract. Task Orders will be competed under these indefinite-delivery contracts. The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include acquiring contractor services to remove asbestos containing material (ACM) and asbestos contamination from hydroelectric generators, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, mechanical and electrical control systems, surfacing materials, thermal systems insulation (TSI), floor and ceiling tiles, wire and cable insulation, cable trays and conduits, crane floors, crane and elevator brakes, and other locations associated with hydroelectric dams, buildings, and equipment, and remove and dispose of coatings containing heavy metals. Contractors shall comply with all aspects of FAR Part 23- ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY AND WATER EFFICIENCY, RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES, OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, AND DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE. Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible Hubzone businesses. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov prior to the award of any contract. Contractors shall note that this solicitation will be issued APPROXIMATELY May 15, 2013 with proposal due APPROXIMATELY June 15, 2013. Award of contract will be made APPROXIMATELY July 1, 2013.
