Description
Colville National Forest, Albian Hill Culvert Replacements. The Three Rivers Ranger District on the Colville National Forest located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for replacing two existing culverts. The project is located in Ferry County, Washington State. The sites are approximately 23 miles from Kettle Falls, WA and 100 miles from Spokane, WA (Township 36 N, Range 35 E, Section 8 and Township 37N, Range 35 E, Section 31). The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. This project consists of the construction of two corrugated steel structural plate bottomless arch culverts. One culvert is a 16'-0" span x 5'-3" rise arch located on FS Road 2030000, milepost 0.30, and the other culvert is a 15'-0" span x 4'-8" rise arch located on FS Road 2030000, milepost 3.2. Improvements consist of, but are not limited to, diversion of the streams, structural excavation, removal of the existing culverts, installation of the arches and footings, reshaping of the stream channel, installation of rock stream structures, embankment and excavation of roadway approaches, placement of riprap, and road surfacing. The project timeframe is estimated to be between September 3, 2013 through October 11, 2013. The project is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid guarantee will be required. The awarded Contractor will have to provide both payment and performance bonds. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 30, 2013. The actual proposal due date will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for HubZone small business concerns. NAICS code is 2373100 size standard is $33.5 million.
