- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, intends to acquire by contract the decommissioning of Forest Service Roads 2900045 and 2900046. Work includes but is not limited to removal of multiple culverts, water elevation lowering, installation of water bars, seeding and mulching of disturbed areas, and installation of access barrier. The project is located on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt. St. Helens Ranger District, in the State of Washington. From Randle, Washington, take Washington State Route 131 (Forest Road 23) south approximately 0.9 miles, veer left and continue on Forest Road 23 (Cispus Rd), take Forest Road 23 south approximately 8 miles to Forest Road 28 on the right (Continuation of Cispus Rd), take FR 28 approximately 1 mile to FR 29 on the left, take FR 29 approximately 3.4 miles to FR 2900045 on the right, take FR 2900045 approximately 0.4 miles to FR 2900046 on the right. A solicitation for this project work, following the procedures of FAR Part 13 for Simplified Acquisition Procedures, will be made available on this web site on or about May 16, 2013. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 115310 with an applicable size standard of $7.0 million. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience, past performance and other factors. A single contract will be awarded to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractors, must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
