- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Provide all transportation, facilities, parts, laborer, material and equipment to replace the starboard engine exhaust stainless After-Cooler with a new Caterpillar After-Cooler with water injection pipe or equal in accordance with (IAW) manufactures specifications for the starboard main engine on Survey Boat (SB) Blanchard. It is highly recommended that the contractor make a site visit to SB Blanchard located at the USACE Venice Suboffice dock in Venice, LA to survey and measure the wasted After-cooler on the starboard engines exhaust to ensure proper dimensions. Provide a new Caterpillar or equal stainless steel exhaust After-Cooler with water injection pipe for starboard main engines exhaust system.
