- ECPE Industry Day Registration Form Request for Information Document This is a Request for Information (RFI) Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is ONLY to invite qualified firms to submit responses to the attached RFI document, demonstrating the ability to provide the services listed below. To be included in the response to the RFI, firms shall include information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are small businesses; HUB Zone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. Interested small business firms are highly encouraged to respond to this notice. However, firms should understand that generic capability statements are not sufficient for effective evaluation of their capacity and capability to perform the work required. Responses must directly demonstrate the company's capability, experience, and ability to marshal resources to effectively and efficiently perform the objectives described above. All questions must be submitted in writing by 11:59PM EST on May 20, 2013. All questions received will be answered and posted on FBO.gov for all interested vendors to review. All responses to the Request for Information must be submitted by 11:59PM EST on June 02, 2013. Responses must be submitted in accordance with the instructions presented in the attached document. INDUSTRY DAY: The government will be conducting an Industry Day on May 10, 2013 to present information to interested offeror's in regards to the Electronic Case Processing Environment (ECPE) procurement. All parties interested in attending the Industry Day must follow the instructions presented below. Industry Day Instructions: 1. All firms will be limited to (3) attendees per firm. Any additional attendees will NOT be allowed into the facility to participate in Industry Day. 2. All firms who intend to be in attendance for Industry Day must register with the Contract Specialist (Michael Fischer) by 12:00PM EST on May 08, 2013. Any firm that does not register in accordance with this instruction will not be allowed into the facility. 3. To register, please complete the attached Industry Day Registration Form and submit to Michael.Fischer@psc.hhs.gov by 12:00PM EST on May 08, 2013. 4. A brief question and answer period will be available at Industry Day to discuss general questions. Industry Day Logistics: Date: 05/10/2013 Time: 8:00AM - 12:00PM Where: Wilbur J. Cohen Building 330 Independence Avenue, SW Washington, DC 20237 (use the entrance on C Street) The building entrance is in the middle of the block on C Street between 3rd and 4th Streets Metrorail Directions: Federal Center SW station, Blue/Orange Lines Exit onto 3rd Street, turn left and walk two blocks to C Street. Continue on 3rd Street to the North (far) side of C Street and turn left. The building entrance is in the middle of the block on C Street between 3rd and 4th Streets. L'Enfant Plaza station, Yellow/Green Lines or Blue/Orange Lines Exit at 7th and D Street and walk a short distance East on D Street to 6th Street. Turn left on 6th Street and walk one block to C Street. Continue on 6th Street to the North (far) side of C Street and turn right. Walk 1 ½ blocks East on C Street to the building entrance in the middle of the block between 4th and 3rd Streets. Security Procedures: All attendees must bring (1) form of identification (must be a photo identification). Most preferred methods are driver's license and passport. No escort will be given; firms will only have access to the Cohen Auditorium and nearby restrooms. NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES will be allowed into the Cohen Auditorium. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation.
