- The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base is contemplating to procure a one-time Firm Fixed Price contract for F101 Metal Tube Assemblies. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. First Article requirements apply. Only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufactures that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality can be considered an approved source for this item. 1. History - Awarded 27 Sept 2011, Quantity 28 each @ < $7,500.00 10. Description : A one-time requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. Note: Quotes are to be made for Bid A or Bid B as follows: Bid A - First Article Required - Government Testing 0001AA Material Certification Report Quantity - 1 Lot (Not Separately Priced) Delivery - 120 days after receipt of contract FOB: Destination 0001AB First Article to be Expended in Testing Quantity - 1 each Delivery - 120 days after receipt of contract FOB: Destination 0001AC First Articles (Will NOT be counted as Production) Quantity - 2 each Delivery - 120 days after receipt of contract FOB: Destination 0001AD Production Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) - 15 each Offers as to price are to be made for the BEQ listed above. This solicitation will be for a Range with a Minimum of 4 each and a Maximum of 23 each. Revalidation of the Quantity will be required prior to award. NO ORDERS WILL BE PLACED AGAINST THIS CONTRACT. Delivery - 30 days after receipt of first article approval FOB: Origin Bid B - First Article to be Waived 0001AF Production Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) - 15 each Offers as to price are to be made for the BEQ listed above. This solicitation will be for a Range with a Minimum of 4 each and a Maximum of 23 each. Revalidation of the Quantity will be required prior to award. NO ORDERS WILL BE PLACED AGAINST THIS CONTRACT. Delivery - 5 each monthly starting 30 April 2014. Early deliveries are acceptable. FOB: Origin 11. Packaging - Only Military Packaging and Marking will be accepted 12. Mandatory Language: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. 13. Export Control : DFARS 252.204-7008 Export-Controlled Items applies 14. Qualification Requirements : Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.
