Description

The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with East Oklahoma Horizons, 300 E. Highland Mall, Suite 385, Austin, TX 78752 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to provide Windows Server and SQL Server training courses for Biomedical Engineering personnel. Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure and Application Platform will teach the fundamental s of networking, security, and server administration and is intended to provide the foundational knowledge needed to prepare for the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) exam. SQL Server 2008 Database training will teach the knowledge and skills to maintain and use a Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2 database. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interests by accompanied by supporting literature to the Contracting Officer no later than 12:00pm central May 7, 2013. Responses should be sent to Sheila.reed@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The NAICS for this procurement is 541519, size standard $25.5 million. DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
