THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that the Officer in Charge of Construction, Marine Corps Installation East intends to solicit bids and award a firm-fixed price contract to Repair Tarawa Terrace Roads, UN280 aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The work includes, but is not limited to, repairs to existing bituminous roads in Tarawa Terrace. The proposed contractor will provide sufficient material, labor, equipment, supervision, and transportation to fulfill all requirements of the contract in accordance with industry standards. This work shall be completed within 360 days of the effective award date of the contract. The procurement method to be utilized is FAR Part 14 - Sealed Bidding. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237310 and the annual size standard is $33,500,000. Estimated cost for this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available, free of charge. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small businesses. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond of 20% of the amount for Davis Bacon Act (DBA) work.
