Description

The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) will be hosting a Joint Interagency Field Exploration (JIFX) event on 5-8 August 2013. This event will focus on exploring the potential of new capabilities to address challenges faced by the United States ™ Combatant Commanders (AFRICOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, NORTHCOM, PACOM, SOCOM, SOUTHCOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM) and the federal entities that support (or are supported by) the COCOMs. The Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security are the sponsoring entities for this event. This event is modeled on the successful US Special Operations Command “ Naval Postgraduate School ™s TNT/CBE events and is being conducted to provide the benefits of a multiinstitutional semi-structured learning environment for the conventional forces community. Companies, educational institutions, laboratories and other organizations are invited to submit white papers that may lead to an invitation to participate in the August JIFX event to be conducted at the NPS McMillan Field facility on Camp Roberts near Paso Robles, California. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED RFI FOR COMPLETE DETAILS AND WHITE PAPER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS.
