- HQ AMC Specialized Contracting intends to issue a firm fixed price contract modification extending the period of performance for the existing Air Force (AF) wide Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Support Services contract (FA4452-13-C-0008). This modification is being issued to Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) (CAGE: 0W151) to ensure continued mission support of the EOD flights. EOD support services are a recurring mission requirement within the Department of the Air Force (CONUS and OCONUS). The contractor is required to provide; EOD munitions and explosives accountability expertise, documentation of required EOD training, and the maintenance of explosive demolition equipment. Utilization of EOD contract support services affords AF EOD personnel an increased ability to train and respond to explosive incidents. Focused training and experience improves critical skills to combat improvised explosive devices, while maintaining both nuclear weapons proficiency and demolition skills. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, CTC, 5955 Core Road, Suite 522, North Charleston, SC 29406 under the authority, 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2); Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement is AF wide and includes multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations. Contractor must have all positions in place at all locations by the 11 May 13 start date. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The resultant contract modification will be firm fixed price with a base performance period of 11 may 13 - 28 Aug 13 with one two-month option period from 29 Aug 13 - 23 Oct 13. Verbal requests will not be acted upon. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541690 and the small business size standard is $14M.
