- 10 CONS/LGCA at the United States Air Force Academy, CO is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for window washing services. The requirement is anticipated to be for a 1-year base period with 4 option years. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. T here is no solicitation at this time. There will not be reimbursement for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to ensure that window washing services are performed at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado in a manner that shall maintain a neat and professional appearance. The services shall include washing the interior and exterior sides of all windows to include spandrel panels, unless explicitly stated otherwise. All windows and screens shall be free of dirt, film, smudges, streaks, debris, water, and other foreign matter. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the screens caused by the contractor in the performance of this work. The contractor shall perform this work to include complete cleanup, in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) safety guidelines. Services shall include: •- Wash and dry windows/spandrel panels. •- Remove, clean, and replace screens as required. •- Clean frames, casings, and sills. Currently, the estimated workload and frequency is as follows (NOTE: Square footage shown is the TOTAL square footage (in and out) to be washed per frequency): Bldg 1/ 16,318 sf/ 1 per year (May) Bldg 2/ 37,812 sf/ 1 per year (May) Bldg 3/ 15,831 sf/ 1 per year (May) Bldg 4/ 16,725 sf/ 1 per year (May) Bldg 5/ 5,088 sf/ 1 per year (Oct/Nov) Bldg 6/ 10,760 sf/ 2 per year (May & Oct/Nov) Bldg 7/ 10,023 sf/ 2 per year (May & Oct/Nov) Bldg 8/ 26,931 sf/ 2 per year (May & Oct/Nov) Bldg 9/ 600 sf/ Monthly Bldg 10/ 2,852 sf/ Monthly All interested and qualified sources should submit the following documentation to this office by e-mail to Aaron.Vollbracht@us.af.mil no later than 3:00 PM MST, 10 May 2013: (1) Name of Company and Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number, E-mail Address, Website (if applicable) (2) Statement of business size (Large or Small) (3) Representation/Certification of small business socioeconomic status (4) CAGE code and DUNS Number (5) Examples of prior completed projects/contracts of similar nature (7) Examples of prior completed Government contracts, references, and other related information (6) Standard commercial practices for pricing and delivery/inspection terms relevant to this requirement Be advised this notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote or Request for Proposal.
