- F1T0DG3051A001/Wage Determination The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOAB, Eglin AFB FL, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for preventative maintenance for UPS and Batteries as listed below. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for this service prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F1T0DG3051A001. Quotes or modification of quotes, received at the address specified for the receipt of offers after the exact time specified WILL NOT be considered. STATEMENT OF WORK Extended Maintenance Warranty for UPSs in the Classified Computer Center and the Central Control Facility at Building 380 1. INTRODUCTION. This statement of work (SOW) is concerned with an extended maintenance warranty for the Universal Power Supplies (UPS) located in the Classified Computer Center and at the Central Control Facility at building 380. 2. REQUIREMENTS. The warranty shall be comprised of preventive maintenance and emergency repair service. a. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE: One annual and one semi-annual preventive maintenance service shall be performed on each UPS. Maintenance shall include voltage and current measurements on the battery strings. Perform system diagnostics on each UPS and perform maintenance, repairs, or parts replacement, as required, to bring each UPS into factory specification. All UPS parts are covered with the exception of batteries, air filters and proactive full bank capacitor. A report shall be provided detailing all measurements and work performed on the UPS. Work shall be scheduled between 8AM and 5PM and weekdays, excluding Federal Holidays b. EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICE. Provide help desk service, in addition to, on-site troubleshooting and part replacement service. Response must be made within four hours, seven days per week of initial contact by customer. Emergency service labor and travel is included. All UPS parts are covered with the exception of batteries, air filters and proactive full bank capacitor. 3. COMPONENTS.
