Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice for Sam Gibbons Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) Project. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to replace Pressure Reducing Valves at the Sam Gibbons Courthouse and Federal Buidling located at 801 North Florida Ave, Tampa, Florida. Work will include but is not limited to plumbing, general construction, alterations, and necessary demolition for completion. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with the scope of work and all applicable codes. Solicitation Number GS-04P-13-BV-C-0025 for this effort will be posted to FederalBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on our about May 16th, 2013. A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference is not anticipated at this time. The Request for Quotes will tenatively close on our about 5/30/2013. Bid bonds will be required with quotes and the succesful respondent will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds within 10 days of contract award. The period of performance is expected to be 90 days from Notice to Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED- VETERAN-OWNED-SMALL-BUSINESSES (SDVOSB) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
