- United States Forest Service requires aerial imagery services for direct digital acquisition of 30cm resolution, 4-band stereo coverage of approximately 3,880 square miles of the Shoshone National Forest, WY; 203 square miles in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests, WY; 149 square miles in the Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest, CO; and 41 square miles in the San Juan National Forest, CO. Imagery acquisition must be accomplished using a digital sensor that collects four-band multi-spectral natural color (RGB) and color infrared (CIR) simultaneously. The project will have an approximate flying season of June 15, 2013 through September 15, 2013. Upon contract award, the contractor is required to create and submit the proposed flight plan for Government review prior to the notice to proceed. Contract deliverables include: uncompressed 4-band, 16-bits per band TIFFs, stereo block files, project geodatabase and other data files due 60 days after the end of the flying season. The solicitation will include option items for an additional 1,432 square miles of BLM land, 8-bit color corrected stereo images and orthorectified imagery. The solicitation, number (RFP) AG-8447-S-13-0004, will be issued on or about Friday, May 3, 2013 with responses due on or about Monday, June 3, 2013. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, will be issued under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is subject to the Availability of Funds clause (FAR 52.232-18). All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation that shall be considered. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 541922 is $7 Million.
